Equine Safety and Success Network™ Develops Practical Resources for Horse Professionals

What happens when horse professionals come together to look at the everyday decisions, systems and experiences that shape successful equine operations?

The Equine Safety and Success Network™ (ESSN) is a free Pilot Program where horse professionals are helping develop, test and improve the Equine Safety and Success Guide™ (ESSG) in real-world operations. The Guide is being developed as a practical professional resource, with Toolkit Collections that help turn good intentions into systems horse professionals can actually use.

Current work includes rules & expectations, communication and follow-up, rider evaluations, staff and management guidance, documentation, and the experiences created for riders, parents, guests and clients. ESSN members also participate in weekly Roundtable discussions and explore practical teaching, management and communication ideas that can be adapted to different types of equine programs.

The goal is to provide practical tools, questions and systems that help them think through what they do, communicate it clearly, apply it consistently and make thoughtful professional decisions.

The Equine Safety and Success Network™ is currently welcoming horse professionals who would like to participate in the Pilot Program and help shape the Guide as it continues to develop.
